Oviedo Named Tree City USA Community by the Arbor Day Foundation for 16th Year

The Arbor Day Foundation today announced that Oviedo, FL was named a Tree City USA community for its commitment to urban forestry.

It's the 16th year Oviedo has earned this national honor from the Arbor Day Foundation, the nation's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees.

The Division of Forestry for the State of Florida has declared an extreme fire danger presence due to the elevated status of drought conditions and lack of rainfall for Seminole County, including the City of Oviedo.
