95 gallon carts are collected weekly by contract service provider Republic Services to residents within the City solid waste district. The rate charged for garbage collection in the City of Oviedo is $20.05 per residential unit as of October 1, 2008. The competitively bid service is designed to increase recycling and provides automated cart collection.  

Recycling is easy and unlimited! For information on recycling more, click here. Oviedo residents in apartments and condominiums, that do not have curbside recycling, can drop-off recyclables in dual sort recycling carts located behind City Hall, 400 Alexandra Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765.
