On June 6th it was a beautiful morning for a dedication ceremony as the Oviedo City Council formally dedicated the new Public Works Administration and Engineering facility.
The new facility is part of a major face lift for the City’s Public Works complex located on Evans Street off CR 419 (across from Kingsbridge East).
The new facility is being financed from bond proceeds approved by City voters in November, 2006. The new 5,400 square foot facility will provide permanent work space for the City’s engineering staff, Public Works Director and other Public Works staff who were previously located in leased office space on Central Avenue since September, 2005.
