Emergency Operations Center
The City of Oviedo Emergency Operations Center is activated for any disaster that impacts the Oviedo community. The Fire Chief/Emergency Management Director is responsible for diaster management for the community which includes a supporting cast of well trained Department Directors, each holding specific emergency support function responsibilities. The City of Oviedo has adopted a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan providing a foundation and operational procedures for disaster management in cooperation with local, state, federal, and other partners.
The Oviedo EOC is located on the City Hall Complex in the Annex Building, 320 Alexandria Blvd. The Oviedo EOC includes critical infrastructure technology utilized to manage a potential disaster situation. The Oviedo EOC is restricted from direct access during a disaster except for City Staff, Elected Officials, and our Disaster Partners.
