Residential Hazardous Waste Disposal

     The City of Oviedo Fire Rescue encourages you to properly dispose of Hazardous Waste to prevent environmental damage to the storm water master system, drinking water, and the environment.  Hazardous Waste is identified by the product container information and includes products such as (but not limited to):

Products Accepted Include: Motor oil, glues, fluorescent lights, insecticides, lawn checmicals, poisons, propane tanks, flammable liquid-gasoline, mercury, solvents, televisions, thermostats, thermometers.

Products Not Accepted Include: Biological material, radioactive material, explosives, medications.

Central Transfer Station: 1950 SR 419, Longwood 32750 

On CR 419 between SR 434 and Hwy 17-92 

Hours of Operation:  Monday - Saturday  7:30 am to 5:30 pm 

Closed on Sunday
