Medic Alert Program

     The City of Oviedo Fire Rescue Department supports and recommends the MedicAlert Foundation medical alert identification program.  This program provides a method of alerting emergency responders to a medical condition thereby providing potentially life saving information to the emergency responders. 

     The MedicAlert Program is a universal program recognized across the country for all emergency responders.  The program includes a medical alert bracelet that identifies a particuliar medical condition in order for emergency responders to provide the proper medical emergency care.
