Reclaimed Water Projects

The Reclaimed Water Interconnect Project was completed in September, 2011 by Blue Ox Enterprises for a cost of $50,000.

This project is a manual connection between the two reclaimed water systems; City of Oviedo and the the previously privately-owned Alafaya Utility System.  The Alafaya system was acquired by the City in 2011 and is now owned and operated by the City of Oviedo.

The 20-inch City of Oviedo reclaimed line from the City of Orlando's Iron Bridge Water Reclamation Facility is located on Lockwood Boulevard.  The 20-inch Alafaya reclained line crosses Lockwood Boulevard, just north of Longbranch Lane.  This is the location of the manual interconnect.  The project was designed by CPH Engineers in 2011 for a cost of $5,615.
