Dial Building Renovation Project

The City has contracted with GLE Architectural Seervices to perform a pre-renovation asbestos survey for an existing 2,800 sq. ft. commercial structure built in 1994 on property previoulsy known as Dial Septic.  The City purchased this property in May of 2007 to accommodate the City's long-term planning goals of developing the Evans Street Public Works Complex.

The City intends to renovate the interior and exterior of the existing commercial structure for use by the Public Works Department.  The renovation/demolition will include exterior finish, doors and windows and will create a shell space by removing interior non load bearing partitions, finishes, celings, loose insulation and selected plumbing facilities and fixtures.  GLE will perform the architectural design work for the project which is anticipated to begin in August of 2011.
