2. Stop and check traffic around you
3. Avoid riding when it's hard to see
4. Obey the law
5. Move with the flow of traffic
6. Be extra careful when turning left
7. Stop, Look, and Listen
8. Give cars and pedestrians the right-of-way
9. Avoid riding on broken pavement

Oviedo Police Department Community Relations Section provides bicycle rodeos for organizations as well as local events.  These rodeos promote safety and educate people about bicycle laws.
