Oviedo Police Departement's ongoing commitment to the juveniles in our community has resulted in a dedicated juvenile related position.  The Youth Services position was created as a point position for juvenile incidents and situations occuring around local schools. Normal in-school incidents will be handled by the School Resource Officer assigned to the school. 

   They include but are not limited to:

• Incidents near local schools
• Intervention programs
• Community Service
• Monitoring of Juveniles on Probation
• Gang related incidents
