Swim Lessons Group Swim Lessons
Riverside Pool 1600 Lockwood Blvd Group lessons are offered March - October, for participants from 6 months to adults. Each session includes six 30 minute lessons scheduled, five are guaranteed. All group lessons and registrations are held at Riverside Pool. The cost* for each session (all 6 lessons) is: $40 for Oviedo Residents $55 for Non-Resident Members $65 for Non-Residents. *prices are subject to change Registration is NOT available on-line, you must register in person at Riverside Park. Unless your swimmer has taken lessons with us since June 2011, they must get tested by one of our instructors prior to registration. The swim test is only required if you are registering for a level higher than Water Tots 1 or Level 1. You DO NOT need a swim test for Bubble Babies, Water Tots 1, Level 1 or Adult. SWIM TEST INSTRUCTIONS: To get a swim test - simply go to either of our pools (when they are open) and let the lifeguard know you need a swim test for swim lessons. This process takes about 5 minutes and doesn't cost anything. You do not need an appointment. Please click here for the current pool hours. NEW Registration Information: · Each session has a separate registration that is required. All registrations are first come, first serve. · There is absolutely no saving places in line on registration day. · Registration for a session does not guarantee registration for any future session. · Registration is done in person by the parent/guardian of the participant. You may not register other swimmers for lessons. All registrations are held at Riverside Park. · Registration begins at 8am for City of Oviedo Residents and 10am for Non-Oviedo Residents (on date listed). · On the morning of registration, the line begins to form prior to 8am. Beginning at 7am, numbers will be handed out to those already in line and will continue until registration is complete, one number per household. Registration will begin at 8am and proceed by number.

AM1 Registration begins: June 2; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: June 4 - 15 PM1 Registration begins: June 2; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: June 5 - 21 AM2 Registration begins: June 16; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: June 18 - 29 AM3 Registration begins: July 7; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: July 9 - 20 PM2 Registration begins: July 7; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: July 10 - 26 AM4 Registration begins: July 21; 8am for City of Oviedo Residents, 10am for Non Residents Classes: July 23 - August 3 All AM sessions are M/W/F 7:30-11am. All PM sessions are T/Th 6-8pm. Each class is 30 minutes long. The Bubble Babies class is a Parent-Tot class. One adult must be in the water with the child for every lesson. Aquatics Rain-out Line:
