Land Development Code

The Land Development Code, also known as the LDC, endeavors to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and property owners of the City of Oviedo, as well as obtain a desired quality of life through managed growth and development.  It implements the goals, objectives, and policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan pertaining to the use of land.  The intent of the Land Development Code is to facilitate development in accordance with the Code's minimum standards and requirements.  Subject to Article VII, Non-conforming Situations, no person may use, occupy, or subdivide any land or buildings; or authorize or permit the use, occupancy, or subdivision of any land or building under his control except in accordance with all of the applicable provisions of the Land Development Code.  To access the 2006 Land Development Code click on the document's title.
