I just got an email from a mother of a child with autism that was in your community this weekend.   I live in Windermere, but just wanted to say thank you.   

I am so happy to hear how well your officers took great care with this autistic child that fled.  You all handled it so well.  We always hear the horror stories of the police having to tazer or hold kids down because they don't know how to deal with these kids who have autism.
