Dear Chief Chudnow:

On behalf of the hundreds of children we serve each year, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your support through this year's inaugural Winter Springs & Oviedo Police Department's Charity Football Game.  We truly appreciate the efforts of you, Lt. Adam Egert and your entire department in making it such a great and successful event!

For nearly ten years, Kids House of Seminole has been a safe and caring place where child victim's of abuse come to find compassionate care and healing.  Kids House has made incredible strides in helping our children this past year.  But unfortunately, an increase in the number of abuse cases has been tremendous and more children are in need of our services than ever before.  It is for this reason, and many more, that we are so grateful for your continued partnership and financial support.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the children of our community.  With your support we know we can break the cycle of violence and create a community free from abuse and neglect.

I called 911 last night and one of your officers responded in about one minute to the call.  I am glad the incident turned out to be a non-issue, but I wanted to let your Chief know that the responding officer was polite and effective.  I feel fortunate to live in a community with a professional police force.  Keep up the good work.

I would like to thank you on behalf of Evans Elementary for sharing two of your officers with our school.  The Officers braved the heat and led our parade at Evans on May 26th.

All of our students attended the parade and clapped very loudly for your officers...of course, the siren helped too!

I can always count on the Oviedo Police Department to participate in community service.  The professionalism of your department is exemplary!  Thanks again for being part of our reading accomplishment celebration!

Dear Corporal:

Thank you very much for all your help, support and guidance yesterday with our son. We were able to convince our son to stay in Florida and begin the process of identifying a treatment program that will assist with his drug addiction.

We are convinced that all the interventions and slowing of his planned leave aided in our ability to get him to think about the best possible option for himself. Indeed his impending homelessness was the tipping point for his flight plan. We thank you and your Officer who were with us yesterday throughout the day.
