PoliceCity of Oviedo Police Department Child Safety Car SeatsThe Oviedo Police Department currently provides an Educational Car Seat program on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 300 Alexandria Boulevard. The program includes training on how to properly install child seats. This program is offered BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and appointments must be made 1 week prior to the training. OPEN GARAGE DOORS ATTRACT THIEVES, 3 OVIEDO MEN ARRESTEDOviedo Police were called to the Kingsbridge East neighborhood to investigate a daytime burglary which had occurred at a house where the garage door was left open. Because the garage door had been left open, it took the thieves only seconds to choose the house and commit the burglary and theft. The Christian Sharing Center Needs our helpLeadership Seminole, Class 18, an organization made up of local leaders with the purpose of strengthening the community in which we live, has identified the Christian Sharing Center as an organization that needs our help. The mission of the CSC is to help families get back on their feet that are in a state of transition or are homeless. |
