Communications

The Communications Division is responsible for handling all incoming calls to the police department. These calls include 9-1-1, emergency, and non-emergency calls for service. In addition, the communications center handles all radio traffic and monitors numerous mutual aid frequencies.

Records

Records 

The Oviedo Police Department Records office handles all the reports generated by the officers and acts as a warehouse and distribution center for processing police records. The primary responsibility of the Records Specialist is to ensure all police reports comply with Florida State Statutes.
