Reclaimed Water Projects

The Reclaimed Water Interconnect Project was completed in September, 2011 by Blue Ox Enterprises for a cost of $50,000.  

Raw Water Main Conversion and Water System Improvement Project

The Raw Water Main Conversion and Water System Improvement Project was substantially complete on January 6, 2011.  This approximately $1 million dollar water system improvement project began in February of 2010 to improve system water quality and pressure.  The projected converted a raw water line that transmitted water to the AM Jones Water Treatment Plant into a potable&nb

Fleet Services

The Fleet Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all City vehicles and equipment.  Staff includes a total of 3 employees who maintain more than 400 fleet inventory items, including small power equipment, automobiles, pickup trucks, heavy trucks, heavy equipment, police vehicles and fire rescue vehicles.

Flood Study Report

FEMA recently revised the flood maps for Seminole County and the incorporated cities for insurance purposes. 

Flood Insurance Discounts for Oviedo Citizens

City of Oviedo residents and businesses receive discounts on their Flood Insurance through the City's continued participation in FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Community Rating System (CRS) Program.
