The Oviedo Police Department wants you to be safe when bicycling by wearing a bike helmet and by locking your bike securely anytime you are not riding it.

The Oviedo Police Department has been approved by the Veterans Administration (V. A.) as an official training site. Oviedo is one of the few police departments in this area to be recognized as a training site and is one of only 10 municipalities recognized in the State of Florida.

Oviedo Police Department conducts many presentation for the community.  The Community Relations Section coordinates those presentations on a variety of issues.  The focus of these presentations can vary based on the audience in attendance.

Operation identification is a crime prevention effort by the Oviedo Police.  The Community Relations Section of the Department has an engraving tool, which is used to place personal information onto your electronics equipment.
